Hi Marge,
I consider the set i bought "mint condition". Like I said before, I got mine from a fellow BowieNet member fo $50.00 U.S........It's asking price now from eli.com is $183.00 U.S. so I really got a bargin! I saved $133.00! Holy COW!...... Oh BTW, Sorry for not replying for so long. I tried to reply way before now but my computer froze up in the middle of my reply to you.

How nice of you to email me again! I feel that because of David Bowie(aka: SAILOR~his nickname on BowieNet) I have found another friend! He does seem to bring people together! LOL!
You were asking about my D.B. collection......oh wow...I have so many items I could never remember everything. My husband's hobby is collecting coins and my hobby is collecting any and as much Bowie stuff I can afford! My CD collection is small compared to some peeps I know. Currently I have over 200 Vynals,cassettes, and CD's. I've seen him in person 3 times. After 1 concert, I was lucky enough to actually chat with him just a wee bit and get his autograph. He is genuinelly a nice man, not fake nice. Through BowieNet, I emailed him a few times and he answered them! Just short replies but so what! I will save them forever! He used to pop up in the bnet chat room once in awhile so I've had a few chats with him along with whomever was lucky enough to be in the room at the same time.
One of the ITEMS I have to brag about having is a "Throw Blanket" with the cover of "HUNKY DORY" on it. It's a real treasure. I got it new for $100.00 U.S. from some company in England. My hubby bought mea Reality Hoody Jacket at the last concert for $65.00! He suprised me with it. I have countless tee-shirts~buttons~books~magazines~newspaper articles~Playbills~calenders~photos personally autographed~~~Let me put it this way, I have a bedroom full of all my David things! I've inventoried for insurance purposes. Oh I forgot...I've got a sh*t load of videos of concerts~ video copies of apearances of programmes he has appeared on. I try not to be stingy and if I can, I share copies of videos and sometimes if I get more than one copy of a magazine that someone cannot get here in the U.S. I share. Peeps have done this for me so I feel it's the right thing to do. For instance, when D.B.'s baby Lexi and D.B. and Iman was on the cover of "HELLO" magazine, A fellow Bnetter sent me a copy from the U.K. as I could'nt find it here in the U.S.. She even paid the postage! That was so kindhearted of her. Later, I made a few tee-shirts and had a cool piccy of Bowie on the front and the Bnetter's nickname put on the back. That was my way of thanking her for what she did for me.
So if there is an item ~ especially a bootleg video or casette of a concert and U don't have it maybe I could share.
Ive been burned only 1 time with sharing a video and I still have not been able to get a replacment copy. It was "STORYTELLERS" on VH-1. She kept my copy and I still feel hurt about that.
Well, Ive gone on and on~~SORRY EVERYONE!~~

Hi Bowiebabe - cool sound like you have loads more stuff than I do. I will look out for storytellers video for you - I don't have a copy or I would share :) I have never been lucky enough to meet the man himself, although I have seen him play and do have an autographed art booklet of his.
