 50's Rock & Roll
In the 1950s Rock & Roll was the spark that started the music scene which still burns today. It's fusion of blues music, gospel and country mixed with relevant and youthfully irreverent lyrics created what today is regarded as pop music.

Coming through differing musical routes the first stars of the decade - Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis Presley or Buddy Holly - were instrumental in creating a style and attitude which swept the world, both culturally and musically. The purest Rock & Roll is pop perfection but within these stylings also exist harder rockabilly leanings, boogie-woogie jazz piano, vocal R&B groups and country and western rhythms. As the man once said, "Long Live Rock And Roll".
