THE SMITHS Big Mouth Strikes Again- Withdrawn (Stunning 1985 UK unfolded uncut card printer proof for the front and reverse ROUGH TRADE 7" vinyl single. This original design had the Purple tint lighter which was replaced by the designers as being too bland for the actual sleeve production. The proofs were destroyed with only a few surviving & it is unlikely there are more than a handful left in existence and comes complete with registration and proofing bars & measures 15" X 9". Though only slightly different to finished product is still a great piece of artwork - Go on Frame it!!)

Measuring 15" x 8" this is one of a few ever in existen ce. The difference between this issue and the commercially released sleeve we all know is 'The Smiths' is written in red and the front and back colour are in a much lighter shade with red tints. This design was personally rejected by Morrissey himself who ordered the change. A stunning piece of artwork that begs to be framed)
